Home Run Derby recipe construction has lots of wheat and oats plowed under with boxes and boxes of gold rush hops (Citra Dynaboost, Riwaka, Nectaron, Strata CGX) at the end of the brew day to ward off early aught IBUs. The cellar bugs churned through things and landed us right where we’d hoped – 9%, above the equatorial divide of casual enjoyment and into a Wrath of Rakshasa coaster pint.

Dank, grassy, herbaceous, dyno-diesel aromas lay back to a tropical fruit explosion that rounds for an overall full-fat whole haze cream.  It’s a full safari for those still on the hunt – you know who you are. Onyx of High + Sunken Opal, that’s a big lunch box.
