Nectar Double Daisy Cutter

Double Daisy has always served as a cyclical touchstone. It’s a celebratory beer realized through the lens of Daisy Cutter, the beer that defines our appreciation and commitment to highly enjoyable, everyday beers.

Nectar DDC is a big 8% ABV hazy double pale ale tropical fruit smoothie edged with New Zealand diesel. This varietal features Nectaron, a hop that bursts with expressive peach, pineapple, and grapefruit aromas. We keep the grain bill Daisy faithful, but fermented with a yeast blend that leans into Nectaron’s best qualities.

We first brewed Double Daisy Cutter for Illinois Craft Beer Week in 2010/2011 ( I can’t remember). It’s still great to put out beers that celebrate a collective enjoyment of rich, communal beers.
