Daisy Cutter Union

At Half Acre we moor ourselves to what has always made beer special. We look to breweries that are brewer driven, reflective of place and who deliver rock-hard classic beers defined by beer’s time-honored place in human culture. Firestone Walker has always been pinnacle. You can mark their relevance in any brewing conversation because of their creative attention, approach to quality and investment in communal shared interest. @fw_brewmaster has cultivated a brewer’s life of camaraderie and a high-side example what it means to make beer for a living. To share Daisy Cutter and have his fingerprints on this beer is an honor.

Daisy Cutter Union is a cultural nod to @firestonewalker Union Jack while the beer, as beers should, employs some new tools to make age-old wonders. We give you West Coast IPA with Krush and HQG #4, some of earth’s fresh hop arrivals. Enjoyably taking down this 16oz can, I’m getting so much of what got me into beer. A bitter and delightful resin you just don’t find in other places. Stone fruit, light berry and some big-billboard modern qualities, but it falls away and lands clean, airy and classic. We don’t touch Daisy Cutter often – it is sacred for us – but this carries the mantle. Pick up a four pack (or 2) and toast to friendship.
