The hop stats alone make a very strong case for friendship: Nelson, Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe. These hops throw off heavy fruit, all of which is suspended like a child on a bounce castle thanks to an airy base of beautiful malted barley, wheat and oats. Needling the fringes, we aimed for this beer to occupy the middle-bunk just above standard IPA, but beneath the heartier DIPAs that we’ve been making. It’s a sub-genre we all have the time to explore. Last week we talked about this beer a lot. Now it’s your turn. Four heads are better than one. This beer is a ghost of DIPA future. 7.5% ABV.
