Taproom Associate (Seasonal)
Job Summary
This position is temporary – seasonal – and ends in the Fall. The anticipated start date is the week of April 13, 2026.
This is an hourly, part-time seasonal position that requires availability during business hours, which includes weekends and nights. (Specific work schedule details will be provided to candidates.) This job description includes a general outline of Taproom roles and responsibilities. This position is meant to assist where needed in the Taproom/Patio throughout the shift to aid on the floor and maintain proper pacing of guest flow.
The anticipated pay rate for this position is $12.62/hourly plus tips when working in guest serving roles. When training or performing duties that are not guest serving and receiving tips, the hourly pay rate will be $16.60/hour (actual compensation will be determined based on knowledge, experience, skills, and other factors permitted by law).
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing daily events during off-peak days/hours, noting any irregularities or large party/special accommodations to the MOD.
- Welcomes guests in a service-forward, professional manner.
- Communicates clearly between Front of House and Kitchen staff to complete job tasks successfully.
- Completes taproom opening and closing procedures specific to job position.
- Finds opportunities to deliver great hospitality to our customers and our peers.
- Identifies, maintains and promotes a clean and safe working environment with detail.
- Maintains positive and energizing relationships with co-workers and lends a hand outside of your job code when able.
- Maintains service needs by stocking supplies for service in designated areas.
- Provides guest service by setting and clearing tables.
- Acquires and maintains general knowledge of beers, food, and merchandise.
- Reports to work on time and with ample physical and mental energy to perform job duties.
- Represents Half Acre’s culture and avoids situations and behaviors that are not reflective of company values in the workplace and out in the world.
- Takes initiative and / or enlists the help of peers or managers when applicable to problem solve.

Beneficial Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred, but not required. (On the job training will be provided.)
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 65lbs and maneuver even heavier kegs and cases of beer.
- Able to work an average of 8 hours on your feet in fast paced environment.

Paid Sick Time:
• Begins accruing monthly on day 1 of employment.

Paid Leave for Any Reason (Vacation Time):
• Year 1 – 2: 10 days (.833 days accrued per month based on 40-hour work week)
