Horror on the Brain Speakeasy 10/5

Ever wondered why you like scary movies? Why do we like to be scared? The Chicago Council of Science and Technology alongside guest author Austin Lim are hosting an event to answer these questions and more! Dr. Austin Lim, author of Horror on the Brain: The Neuroscience Behind Science Fiction, will be giving a talk on his book, why humans find horror to be so fascinating and host a Q&A portion to answer all things scary. Come join us on Sunday, October 5^th, from 2pm to 4pm for an afternoon of all things spooky!
